Why do accountants chose their profession and can you share some tips about accountancy?

I am just wondering why accountants chose this mathematical and numerical related course. Im a math lover kid and really fond of playing with numbers and of course i really love to type numbers and data. I dont know if im capable of it and if do so, can i ask some tips about accountancy or do they have some sort of preparations to be a CPA?
